Organizations
An organization is the top-level container in Neuratel Studio. Every resource you create — agents, phone numbers, campaigns, API keys, call logs — belongs to a single organization. Organizations provide data isolation, team access control, and credential management.
Organization Structure
An organization contains:
- Agents — AI voice agent definitions and their versioned configurations
- Phone Numbers — provisioned numbers with routing assignments
- Campaigns — outbound calling campaigns and call lists
- API Keys — programmatic access credentials
- Analytics — call metrics, transcripts, and reports
- Team Members — users with role-based access
All resources are fully isolated between organizations. No agent, phone number, call record, or API key is shared across organizational boundaries.
Members and Roles
Neuratel uses a three-tier role system to control access.
| Role | Access |
|---|---|
| Admin | Full access to all resources, team management, billing, organization settings, and credentials |
| Operator | Create and manage agents, campaigns, and calls. Cannot access billing, organization settings, or manage phone number provisioning |
| Viewer | Read-only access to all resources. Cannot modify anything |
Permissions Matrix
| Resource | Admin | Operator | Viewer |
|---|---|---|---|
| Agents (CRUD + test) | Full | Full | View only |
| Phone Numbers | Full | View + assign | View only |
| Campaigns | Full | Full | View only |
| Analytics | Full + export | Full + export | View only |
| API Keys | Full | View only | View only |
| Team Members | Full | View only | View only |
| Organization Settings | Full | None | None |
| Credentials (BYOK) | Full | None | None |
| Integrations | Full | View + test | View only |
Invitations
Admins invite new team members by email. The invitee receives a link to join the organization.
Via Dashboard
- Go to Organization in the sidebar.
- Open Team Members.
- Switch to the Pending tab.
- Enter the email address and select a role.
- Click Invite.
Team invitations are sent from Settings → Team. See Managing Your Team for the full guide.
Organization Credentials (BYOK)
Neuratel provides default API keys for all AI providers so you can start building immediately. Organizations can also configure their own provider API keys — a pattern we call BYOK (Bring Your Own Keys). Enable BYOK through your account team.
Supported Providers
| Provider | Service |
|---|---|
| OpenAI | LLM (gpt-5.4, gpt-4.1 family), STT (gpt-4o-mini-transcribe) |
| Groq | LLM (Llama, gpt-oss-20b) |
| xAI | LLM (Grok models) |
| Deepgram | STT (nova-3, nova-3-medical) |
| Soniox | STT (stt-rt-v4 — multilingual, semantic EOU) |
| ElevenLabs | TTS (eleven_flash_v2_5) |
| Cartesia | TTS (sonic-3) |
Setting Credentials
- Go to Organization in the sidebar.
- Open the Credentials tab.
- Enter your API key for the desired provider.
- Save.
Credentials are encrypted at rest and never exposed in the UI after being saved.
API Keys
Each organization can create API keys for programmatic access to the Neuratel API. Keys are scoped to the organization and inherit its permissions by default. See API Keys for details on creation, scoping, rotation, and security.
Best Practices
Team structure
- 1–3 people: Admin for everyone.
- 4–10 people: 1–2 Admins, rest as Operators.
- 10+ people: 2–3 Admins, Operators for campaign/agent management, Viewers for monitoring.
Security
- Follow the principle of least privilege — assign the lowest role that allows a member to do their job.
- Review member access periodically.
- Remove access immediately when team members leave.
Credentials
- Use BYOK for production-scale workloads to control provider costs directly.
- Rotate provider keys on a regular cadence.
Next Steps
- API Keys — Create and manage programmatic access credentials
- Agents — Build and configure AI voice agents within your organization
- Analytics — Monitor organization-wide performance metrics
